House Rules

1. Travis lives here and has veto power. Respect him and his authority. He doesn't much care for strange dogs, so please don't bring them without first arranging an introduction in advance.

2. No cats allowed. Sorry, it's in the lease.

3. No other animal guests.

4. If you use the stairs, take it slowly and HOLD THE HANDRAILS.

5. If you go upstairs, WATCH YOUR HEAD. The ceilings have a lot of angles to them.

6. Be respectful of anyone and everyone visiting the house.

7. Be respectful of our neighbors. This goes for noise as well as parking.

8. Clean up after yourself. This includes the rooms and all common areas, especially the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms.

9. If the toilet paper runs out, replace it. If you don't know where it is, ask; there's always more.

10. No smoking in the house. Ashtrays are provided on both porches.

11. NO WEED or other controlled substances on the property without proof of a prescription. Period.

12. This is not a "party house." We  have no liquor or beer/wine license; therefore, we do not provide alcohol. If you bring it with you, please drink responsibly. If you serve alcohol to your guests, the responsibly is theirs and yours.

If you stay as an overnight guest or use the upstairs rooms for writing:

1. Do not store food upstairs. Food storage is in the kitchen only.

2. There is no "maid service" here.

   • If you consume food or beverages upstairs, please bring down your plates, cups, utensils, and trash.

   • If you have used any sheets, pillowcases, or towels during your stay, please place all used items in the hamper in the bathroom before departure. For guests staying downstairs, please place them in the laundry room.

3. If you come in late or leave early, please be respectful of others and keep the noise to a minimum.
